- Jordan Government with World Bank Launch the National Service Registry using MetrixPlus

The Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Ahmed Al-Hanandeh, launched the “National Registry for Government Services Management” platform, which aims to manage more than 2,700 government services and approximately 300,000 performance indicators with the aim of improving the efficiency and quality of services provided to the public.
The Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship said, “Launching the National Registry platform is one of the priorities of the Economic Modernization Vision and the Public Sector Modernization Map, which the government pays great attention to in order to limit and document service card data for all government services and enter the performance indicators associated with them. This is the starting point for a new strategy that primarily aims to re-engineer procedures and develop services with the aim of improving the user experience and removing all complications in obtaining the service.
Al-Hanandeh added that the platform will work to improve the efficiency and quality of services provided to all categories of customers and applicants for these services, including citizens, residents, the business sector and the government, and will enable them to view the service requirements, including conditions, documents and fees required to prepare them before applying for services, and to familiarize them with the available channels for providing services in addition to the different service stages.
Al-Hananda praised the platform’s contribution to raising the efficiency of government work and reducing the time and costs associated with providing services, in line with our national vision of achieving excellence and innovation in providing public services. The platform was developed in cooperation with Palmyra and Sabil Al-Ibtikar Consulting and Information Technology, so that the platform enables government agencies to manage their services, track their performance and evaluate their quality.
Engineer Nour Al-Haridi presented a presentation on the National Registry Platform NSR project, where work was done in an integrated manner with all parties to launch the platform, accompanied by training all stakeholders to ensure optimal use, in addition to technical support to ensure the continuity of the system’s operation with the desired effectiveness and efficiency. The Ministry, in cooperation with the World Bank, also seeks to move the system to a new stage.
Jamal Al-Mahmoud, Director of Palmira and CreativePath Consulting and Information Technology, expressed his happiness with this achievement at the level of the Kingdom’s institutions, stating, “One of the most important goals that Palmira seeks to achieve with your esteemed ministry, and in cooperation with the World Bank, is to move the National Registry Platform NSR to a broader stage. This is to manage all administrative operations and link them with strategic plans, to reach an integrated system for performance management and institutional governance, so that the platform is the only reliable source of information necessary for decision-making in various sectors. MetrixPlus empowers decision-makers by aligning strategy with the operational model and corporate governance in a simplified manner, using the latest technologies and relying on artificial intelligence in many features. The launch was attended by a number of representatives from government institutions and departments, and by representatives from the World Bank, the Prime Ministry, USAID, and the International Labor Organization.
